So happy to have found this market. They have great products. I love their monthly sales on seasonal produce. Great hot bar and pre packaged foods. Lots of local items that are great. I became a member after shopping here for about a year. Love the benefits of being a member (coupons!) and how friendly everyone is - fellow shoppers and crew members alike. Highly recommend checking this place out.

The ultimate sweetheart of a grocery store in Santa Monica. My go to spot for coconut lentil soup from the hot bar, the best tunafish sandwich from the deli, peanut butter straight from the grinder, the best deal on harmless harvest coconut yogurt, and the best selection of holistic supplements and tinctures based how I'm feeling.

I love the Santa Monica food co-op. When I lived on the west side years ago, I was a member. I now live over the hill but when I find myself on the west side, I always make it a point to buy some groceries at the co-opportunity. I love the beautiful displays and the produce section is always beaming with vibrant colour and healthy choices. Everything is clean and orderly. I miss being here several times per week but when I'm out this way, I'm here! It's always a reminiscent experience for me to shop here. If you live in the area, I would definitely choose this as my grocery store.

Firstly I wish to thank the Co-Op for your donation of a fruit platter to Staff Appreciation Week at McKinley Elementary. We love partnering with you and encouraging our families to shop at your store! As for our family, we continue to be shop the bulk food items section. Since my last review, my new fascination is with the store's carob nibs and carob chips from this store. The carob chips are about $7.99 a pound but you only need like a 0.25 lb to make a batch of cookies. Carob chips are low-glycemic as well! Meanwhile I enjoy sprinkling the carob nibs into my daily overnight oats. We are proud members!

So far so good I've been meaning to get this place a shot for quite a while now! I've heard nothing but good things for my friends in from locals. The environment is very welcoming it is a very small market compared to main street markets like Ralph's, pavilions, Whole Foods and etc. one rumor I have heard which I did find to be true while touring the store this morning for the first time is that their prices appear to be MSRP I didn't see many deals or sales however they did have quite a few closeout tags in the cold drink section allowing me to try a natural energy drink that I have wanted to try but it's usually extremely overpriced at Whole Foods. There is a very small deli with Takeaway sandwiches already premade and a small breakfast area have breakfast burritos and a small Buffay of eggs sausage and essential breakfast take away items. I grabbed a few things was happy to find that they support black business like the feminine care products honey pot, and that they have an amazing array of natural skin care as well as hygiene products like deodorant and toothpaste etc. I'm not certain if their prices are in alignment with Whole Foods or even deemed more expensive for your average bottle of Castile liquid soap like Dr. Bronner's etc. but I did admire the bulk section and I plan to come back prior to the long run or walk at the beach for some protein snacks. While I did walk around the store for 15 minutes only one gentleman working in the frozen aisle Greeted me and said good morning in addition to the cashier to which was very kind and welcoming. I did pass by several associates looking with bright eyes and was not asked if I needed help I was looking for something specific but I didn't want to bother as they all seemed very concentrated on whatever they were doing. There's no problem with that in fact if they were standing around chatting it on their phones not greeting me then I would've deemed that to be bad customer service. I do plan to come back and give their deli a shot for lunch someday. If you're into fair trade, natural products enjoy a good bulk section where you can take just a little bit of whatever you may need this may be a great place for you.

This Co-Opp health food store is a little nugget Santa Monica! That has great organic produce and a super team. That's very helpful!! Especially the group in the deli and the produce section are so great. They take their time and help us with getting the best produce and make the greatest organic fresh juices. Thank you for always helping me, and making my shopping experience seem like a trip l, to a Health Food store playground.

Great shopping experience. They have a wide range of healthy options. Friendly and helpful customer service, and easy parking, and customer restrooms. They are less expensive, but still pricey to the average customer. Healthy, quality food is worth it to me. I felt part of the community while shopping here which felt good. Thanks so much!

I like their specialty items - they sell foods that I can't find anywhere else. The prices are exorbitant though, and I've brought home moldy produce on a few occasions ( grapes and bell peppers). Overall, I love the convenience of this store - it's right down the street from me, so I can walk over and get my 10% membership discount once a month. I hope they read this review and keep a closer eye on their produce!

The Co-Opportunity Market on Broadway in Santa Monica is officially my favorite co-op of all time. They have a wide selection of items, and I love that they have gluten-free bread options (I went with the Base Culture Keto Bread for $8.49) and and they also have lactose-free and cane sugar-free ice creams like Fronen (I went with the mint chip ice cream for $6.99). The cashier was also very friendly, the store is clean, they have a small parking lot right out front, and I will definitely be returning. Note, you do not need to be a member of the co-op to shop here, but they do have special pricing if you are a member.
